A finely proportioned Louis XV style writing or side table in light walnut, raised on slender cabriole legs terminating in hoof feet.  The single drawer retains its original brass lock stamped “Bernh. Ludwig Wien” with inventory number, confirming manufacture in Vienna.  The rectangular top is inset with its original tooled leather writing surface, now showing significant wear and loss consistent with age and use.  The drawer lock is present but the key is missing.
