A remarkable and unusually large Northern Italian walnut extending dining table of impressive scale, retaining four original leaves and capable of seating a substantial gathering with. The elongated oval top displays beautifully figured walnut with a warm, richly developed patina accumulated through nearly two centuries of use.

The table is raised on a series of finely turned baluster-form legs, each thoughtfully proportioned to support its considerable length.  A distinctive reeded apron encircles the top, lending refinement to the otherwise restrained form and underscoring the sophisticated craftsmanship characteristic of the Veneto region during the late Neoclassical period.

Rare for both its scale and survival with multiple original extension leaves,
