this important credenza was crafted with great precision and was meant to be viewed from 3 sides, the rectangular top above a a case with an upper frieze carved with interlocking forms, the front and sides highlighted by composite order columns, the three paneled doors with raised moldings and small spherical carvings, likely retaining original lion mask and ring pulls, raised on a robust plinth-form base showing its many years of use
