ON HOLD
Italian Neoclassical tall and shallow cabinet, early 19th century, likely from the Piemonte region in Northwest Italy. Executed in fruitwood with a warm, honeyed patina, the case is defined by its clean, architectural lines and restrained proportion. The façade features a pair of full-height doors inset with finely worked lattice panels over aged burlap backing.
The projecting molded cornice sits above a simply framed case, opening to a well-fitted interior of adjustable shelving, offering generous yet practical storage. The lower section is fitted with a pair of drawers, retaining original locks and (replaced) keys. Raised on shaped block feet with a subtly projecting base.
