Cast and Gilt Brass 30-Light Chandelier
The chandelier is very likely from the boot of Italy, Lecce, which is also known as the Florence of the south. It has 30 lights on two different levels varying between two and three arms and an intricately detailed chain that leads from the body to the canopy. Interestingly, it has both Rococo and Neoclassical elements from the leaf sprays and arms with a neoclassical body including an ovoid-shaped terminal. Lighting allowance offered of $2500 because the chandelier can be disassembled for more efficient shipping.
