January 21, 2015
Saint Germain Des Pres

Nothing is more exciting than waking up on January 2nd of a brand new year.  Possibilities are boundless as the next year’s itinerary has yet to be written.  In effort to make attainable resolutions and goals I prefer to start by editing out what is no longer necessary and/or desirable!  Nothing is safe from this exercise- closets, cupboards, cabinets, baskets, drawers and files are all cleansed of clutter.   I still have a week left to hit the garage and cellar before I can most stealthily operate in 2015.

While seeking images that made sense to our inventory my gravitation to clean slates created a whole new challenge for me.  Great design is all about the edit.   Maintaining a fresh and youthful atmosphere while applying antiques and collections can often be intimidating.  The designs below are beautiful examples of not instant but absolute gratification.

As the year was winding down and holiday vacations beginning, our restoration elves got busy.   We received our latest shipment on December 13th of nearly 100 pieces just after returning from a buying trip to France.   We hope that you will be pleased with our latest finds below and will continue to check back with our New Arrivals as we are constantly adding new inventory!

Kindest Regards,
