Atlanta springtime is design party time! For the last two weeks, we have hosted and attended several events with the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, The Atlanta Symphony Show House, and The Atlanta Scout Guide. Suzanne Tucker, Aerin Lauder, and Windsor Smith were all in town along with many other leaders in our industry. In between presentations and festivities, we received a new shipment and our shop got fluffed for the new things arriving!  It’s quite a whirlwind around here and with so many new shops opening in Buckhead, the SCAD Seen Gala (my favorite), book signings, and personal social responsibilities (housewarming, baby showers, graduations, and Mother’s Day),  my calendar is staying full and exciting!
 
Though I have missed the exercise of finding enlightening context designs via the web for our inventory, there was plenty to see at the ASO show house, in person. The majority of those photos will be published in Traditional Home and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, but I was able to find a few sneak peaks. In other news, WSJ Weekend had a beautiful spread on Stephen Volpe’s home in San Francisco and Santa Barbara Magazine gave me instant inspiration with the editorial of Tammy Hughes home on the Mesa. Special home sections in various non-design magazines are always a welcome surprise!

Many wonderful pieces came in from our trips to Italy and France. The photography is just beginning so let us know if there is anything you need at the moment… it just may be waiting in line!
