American Inspiration

May 23, 2013

Summer always conjures up images of Americana for me.  Growing up in Connecticut, summers in Cape Cod, time in the Hamptons, Nantucket, and Vineyard will forever be fondly remembered.  I can’t help but picture the grey shingle homes in Chatham with American flags raised out in the front yards.  Beach time, barbecues, and long bike rides with family and friends were all a part of the routine.  Nostalgia consumes me as the Memorial Day weekend quickly approaches.  Over the last several years, many favorite designers have sourced us for homes all over the New England coastline!  It thrills me to know that Robuck pieces are chosen for all lifestyles…and, at this very moment, special pieces from our collection are being dusted off as families open their classic American homes for the summer.
