Inspired VI & New Items

Italian furniture is fascinating to me- so bold and handsome, especially the seating. Did anyone notice the poltrona that Pope Benedict XVI was sitting in during his last public address in St. Peter’s Square? It made me wonder how one gets invited to the pope’s apartment because evidently they have left it unchanged for centuries. Note to self: more time in Rome- an original thought today.
We just got back from Europe on Thursday of last week and Shane, the air warrior, has already made the loop back. We kept in mind all of the requests that I prompted from the last email and found some truly fantastic pieces while on the hunt. The shipment is scheduled to arrive to port around the 20th of March, which would be an unbelievable turnaround time. I can’t wait to see everything again! Below is a small tasting of the goods from buying last week and our latest postings to 1st Dibs and our site.
There are so many more things to photograph from the last shipment. It has been a busy first quarter, but we are getting there. Please don’t hesitate to inquire about anything below or what you may not see. It’s definitely possible that it is here, un-photographed or on the water!
Also, a special “thank you” to Roman and Williams for choosing a wonderful pair of andirons of ours for their 1st Dibs Saturday Shopping!
Kindest Regards,
Kristen
