Pair of Gilded Bronze Table Lamps
CA. 1825
Originally constructed as decorative urns or torcheres these later converted lamps are made entirely of gilded bronze with crenelated tops, upturned scrolling handles with foliage and rosettes, and bodies and bases of campana form, raised on square bases, the dimensions include width and depth of the lamp bases and height of the lampshades as photographed. These lamps are built very solidly and are heavy.
