The canted corner (scantonata) top with four iron hinges opening to reveal two upper wells, the conforming case having four-paneled doors and three levels of storage, paneled corners and sides, raised on a plinth-form base, The function of the sacrestia: used for storing the dressing of ministers of religion, liturgical vestments are kept, all the sacred objects necessary to the liturgy and, very often, the parish registers.
